LOST CITY

The Lost City or Teyuna one of the archaeological sites made by the ancient
indigenous tayrona and more ancient Machu Picchu, arriving at the Lost City,
visitors can explore the ancient structures of stone, terraces
agricultural and in addition, will have the opportunity to interact with the descendants of
the indigenous Kogui, who still inhabit the region.
This experience to visit Lost City lasts 3 days and 2 nights with a
demanding walks, so it is recommended to have a good physical condition for the
to make this experience.
The tour includes 60 km of hiking trails, steep and rugged,
crossing rivers and crossing hanging bridges. During the tour, travelers
you will have the opportunity to enjoy breathtaking landscapes, watching wildlife and
flora of the region and immerse yourself in the indigenous culture of the Sierra Nevada.

ITINERARY

DAY 1

• Check out of the hotel in Santa Marta at 04:30 am approximately 3 hours
  in the transport until you reach the village Mamey (Machete pelao).
• By the time they reach the people Mamey take a rich breakfast for
  recharge energy for a hike demanding.
• After breakfast we will take a shuttle bike approximately by
  45 minutes until you reach the sidewalk, lovely view.
• From this point you'll start with a walk of approximately 9
  km to get to the point where you will take the lunch, in the place called
  camp Mumake.
• After lunch and a short rest, you will begin a hike
  approximately 8 km to reach the last camp called
  Step Lorenzo.

DAY 2

• This great day you will start with a delicious cup of coffee and breakfast for
  to be able to visit the Lost City.
• After breakfast, we will pick up the tour with a walk of 1 hour
  to get to the main terraces of the Lost City.
  Our stay there, it will be 2 or 3 hours, at this point, allowing you to enjoy the
  astonishing complexity of its architecture, also of different paintings
  rock art and petroglyphs (drawings engraved in stone), according to the recommendation
  of the guide.
• After the tour return to the camp for lunch.
• After lunch and a well deserved rest, we will go down with a
  walk of 4 hrs to get to the camp Mumake, where will you spend
  the night in bed or in a hammock.

DAY 3

• The last day of this amazing and wonderful experience, we will start with
  a rich and nutritious breakfast, then begin with a hike of 6
  hours approximately to the People Mamey.
• After lunch, and a few minutes of rest, we headed out to the
  respective transport, to go down to the city of Santa Marta. In
  the city we will be arriving at approximately 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm,
  directly to the office or to the hotel where he picked up the carriage the first
  day.
• End of an incredible experience.

NOTE: to be able to make this experience 3 days and 2 nights, we recommend
a good physical condition to perform long walks since this plan is very
physically demanding and departures start from 2 persons.
